Embody Your Ideal • Perform at Your Best

Are you wondering why, despite diligent preparation, things fall apart in your performances or auditions? Or why you struggle to move past a plateau in your playing? Are nerves impeding your enjoyment of making music? Today I want to share several strategies to answer these questions and help manage performance anxiety. You’ll learn to recognize and redirect unhelpful thinking and the importance of tuning in to your body’s intelligence. Through mindful breathing, movement and visualization, you’ll access your ideal state. At the end I’ll invite a volunteer or two to perform and receive coaching on leveraging their ideal performance mindset.
